Holes in jeans have always been a choice. Whether they emerge naturally from wear or a few quick cheeky cuts, somehow that absence of material communicates as much, or more, than intact denim ever could. These holes, though, are something else - long enough that there's almost more hole than pant, and big enough to allow a searching finger to find the mark. Or even an entire hand.
